Your new update deleted all of my favorite bookmarks. Many of which were for business and special research. How do I recover them? They are beyond price. Their loss is a complete catastrophe!

Firefox updated this morning on my desktop (not this device) and still mid-afternoon my tabs are taking minutes to load and the LastPass extension is still grayed out, i.e. inoperable. This happens to some extent EVERY TIME IT UPDATES but this is the worst. Went out for a long lunch and still nothing works. I have things to do and have no browser! Windows 11 Home fully updated Dell Inspiron 3670 i5-8400. I’m *this close* to moving to an alternate browser but really like Mozilla and don’t want to. What can I do to fix this when it happens? I used to run Windows Update troubleshooter and it worked a lot of the time (no idea why) but it’s gone.

I am getting this screen effect when I start trying to play.

Since posting this, I noticed that the dulling effect starts when I click on the screen, and if I then double-click the brightness reverts to normal! So I tried with a wired mouse to see if that was the problem, but no difference so I can rule out the mouse. I'm starting to suspect a browser hijacker or some malware. Only getting the effect on this computer, with only this Firefox browser. My main PC is working normally in the same programme. Very weird.

my 32bit Thunderbird has just updated to 139.0 and the message pane has changed an I hate the look/layout . how can I get it back to how it looked before the update easily thanks

EDIT: - I sorted it. The update put it to 'Cards View' - I went into settings and switched it to ' Table View' and its back to normal now - phew!

Since I restarted my MacBookPro this morning, this pop up message continues to pop up. Apple said it couldn't see any other avenue except for the use of the FireFox browser. How do I make it go away?

Over an hour trying to sync one desktop to another desktop, your methods, your synchronization are like trying to escape from Alcatraz. And you know what happened to Alcatraz? IT CLOSED. So exasperated I could kick my dog. Nah, I LIKE my dog.

I am using Firefox Desktop. I have trouble paying for items when shopping online. I quit using firefox for a period and went to Edge because of this issue. No problems with Edge, but again when I go to checkout it will not allow be to proceed. Anyone have a solution, I want to stay away from Microsoft and Google as much a possible, but this is making me go back that direction. Thanks, J.T.

I'd like to keep my extensions up to date, and I have my "allow automatic updates" setting on. When I look at my extensions on the extension page, I often see the message "This extension will be updated when Firefox restarts" with a button to update the extension now. I do not restart my browser often and do not want to manually check if the extension has been updated, hence why I have automatic updates on.

How can I have Firefox keep my extensions updated without having to manually check if there are updates and without restarting Firefox?

Firefox has been working fine, but today when I clicked to start, I received an error message. "The file or directory is corrupted or unreadable." When trying to uninstall Firefox, Windows cannot find the uninstall helper. When I try to download a new version, I receive an error message: "Couldn't download - virus scan failed." Windows Security reports are all good. A scan found no viruses. Firefox will not open at all.

How do I export my address book (and not my whole profile). I used to be able to send it to a CSV or LDIF file but those options appear to have all disappeared. I do not want to export my profile - it is way too big.

Firefox web browser will not download latest firefox browser from firefox website! It comes up with this "Firefox detected a potential security threat and did not continue to download.mozilla.org because this website requires a secure connection."
